FISH in RED SAUCE recipe | Chinese inspired THAI dishes | Fitous Thai Kitchen

Hi everyone today we’ve got a Chinese inspired Thai fish dish otherwise known as PLA NAM DAENG. This is a great easy recipe that you can easily make at home.
This can be a stand alone dish with jasmine rice, or you can also pair it with other dishes to really have a feast.


Here’s the recipe:

1 Seabass filleted with the head removed
75g Asparagus
75g Shitaki mushroom
75g Red and green peppers
50g Mange tout
50g Ginger
2x Tbsp fish sauce
1x Tbsp Oyster sauce
1x Tbsp Thin soy sauce
1x tsp corn flour mixed with water to thicken the sauce
1x Tbsp of sesame oil
Some flour to coat the fish
1 cup of water
Rapeseed oil or equivalent
A dash of Ve Tsin powder

As with all Asian cooking this is a rough guide with regards to amounts, adjust for your own taste and spice tolerance.
If you want to make it spicier then toast birds eye chillies instead of large sweet chilli.
