Hi everyone today we’ve got an easy dish that requires very little in the way of preparation. It’s bursting with flavour and spice and can be paired with a multitude of other dishes, but is great as a quick dish by itself and can be found in markets all over Thailand.
This is another cracker of a dish!!!

Simple tutorial with Chef Pi Tou showing us how to prepare the various ingredients for Hoy Tord otherwise known as pan fried mussel omelette from start to finish.
Here’s the recipe:
200g frozen mussels defrosted
sriracha chilli sauce
3 Tbsp water
3 Tbsp Seafood batter mix
Pinch of salt
Dash of white pepper
1 Tbsp soy sauce
cup of beansprouts
coriander and spring onion (as much as you like)

As with all Asian cooking this is a rough guide with regards to amounts, adjust for your own taste and spice tolerance.
If you want to make it spicier then toast birds eye chillies instead of large sweet chilli.
